Does my visitor need the app?
No. They simply scan the QR code at your door with any phone camera. The app is just for you.
What if a door controller loses its connection?
Wylmi keeps working. If a controller can’t reach our servers, a secure Bluetooth backup lets residents nearby still open the door — it’s never left stuck.
Which phones are supported?
iPhone (iOS 17+) and Android (7.0+). Both apps are native and feel right at home on each platform.
Is it suitable for a building or office?
Yes. Create an intercom and invite every resident to the directory — a single home, a whole building, or an office reception. Associate a lock with any intercom when you want people to open the door from the app.
What happens if I miss a call?
You still see who came: Wylmi snaps a high-definition photo on every call attempt, so a missed call shows exactly who was at the door — and the visitor can leave a short video message too. Almost no other intercom offers this.
Can the visitor see me?
No. The video is one-way: you see and hear the visitor, but they only hear your voice — your camera is never shared. You stay private while you decide who to let in.
